Accessibility statement
What this website does, and how to reach a person if something does not work for you.
Mi Tierra wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including guests using a screen reader, keyboard navigation, or a browser's zoom and contrast settings.
Our target
We work toward the WCAG 2.1 level AA standard as a reference point. We do not claim this site fully meets that standard at all times: it is a goal we review on an ongoing basis.
What we have done
Descriptive alt text on photos, semantic headings and structure, visible keyboard focus states on links and buttons, color pairings checked against WCAG AA contrast, and a navigation menu, including the mobile menu, that works with a keyboard alone.
This site also runs the Krispy accessibility widget, which lets you adjust text size, contrast, and other display settings from any page. It is a convenience layer on top of the site, not a substitute for it, and we do not treat it as a claim that this site is fully compliant with any accessibility standard.
If something does not work
This site, like any other, is a work in progress. If you run into something that does not work well with your assistive technology, tell us and we will look at it.
